Tara Wray will visit the UIndy Department of Art & Design this September. During her visit she will given an artist talk, debut #TooTiredIndy, a pop-up slideshow exhibition she curated as part of her Too Tired Project, and participate in a panel discussion on artistic practice, collaboration, and mental health. Photographers Jessica Paullus and Victoria Ridgway and art therapist Michelle Itczak will also participate in the panel discussion, which I'll moderate. Tara's visit coincides with a solo exhibition of her photographs on view at UIndy. I was grateful to work with Tara to coordinate the event and exhibition and to have an image curated into #TooTiredIndy. You can view a video of the slideshow here

Participating in Chicago-based JKL Collective's Quorum project was a pleasure and gave me a chance to test out new, weird ideas. Thank you for having me! Here's my contribution to this global, collaborative art project

Here's JKL Collective's description of Quorum: "Quorum is an international project developed and curated by JKL Collective. It seeks to spark artistic connections between makers across the globe through exchange of work and collaboration of process.

Our artists work off a common theme of place and place-based identity. Each artist receives the work of the person immediately before them, and uses that work and the theme as inspiration points. Think of it as an artistic telephone game! We work with artists and makers in all different media to create an interdisciplinary, continuous project."
